All Play and No Work- YEAH RIGHT!

imgp1274 I loved my job. Other than home, work was where I felt safe in my own skin. I felt I was being successful in what I was doing and I loved the interaction with others. Then, when the two lines appeared there was a paradigm shift. I was going to lose myself (my job, my car, my life as I knew it) and gain a chance to give even more of myself than ever before. SCARY!

Now, being a stay at home mom is mostly one of the best parts of my day! It gets tough and then at times it gets tougher but who knew tough could be a strange form of  fulfillment. I also now know that Mothers are the creative geniuses of the world.  One lands up filling the day coming up with creative and fascinating ways to entertain our tiny tots. This really can be hard work, especially when you’re no Charlize Theron, Celine Dion or Crusty the Clown. Although some may say; it can’t be hard looking after a child the whole day- we can inwardly smile and think, YEAH RIGHT!

I agree totally! I love being a stay home Mom! And although people have asked me “what I do all day” and “isn’t it boring..?” I am never bored. By the time the sun goes down and Amber goes to bed, I find myself thinking, “where did the day go!”

It is definitely the first fulfilling job I have ever had! I love waking up to her gurgles and knowing about every little move and development she makes! I can’t imagnie having to miss that just for a bit of extra cash!
